HYROX Las Vegas 2027: Dates, Convention Center Venue, Schedule and How to Prepare

HYROX Las Vegas is a three-day race, March 12 to 14, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The provisional schedule packs the Pro divisions into the Friday and finishes with the relays on Sunday night. This guide covers the details from the official event page and how to build toward race day.

Provisional Race Schedule
HYROX lists this schedule as provisional and subject to change:
- Friday, Mar 12: Doubles Men, Pro Women, Pro Men, Mixed Doubles, Doubles Women, then Women and Men into the evening
- Saturday, Mar 13: Mixed Doubles through the morning, Pro Doubles Women, Pro Doubles Men, then Men in the evening
- Sunday, Mar 14: Doubles Men, Doubles Women, Women, then the Men's, Mixed and Women's relays in the evening
Individual start times are posted about three days before the event, and start time changes are not permitted. On-site registration opens 90 minutes before your first start time, so plan your arrival around that.
Tickets, Changes and Refunds
Athlete and spectator tickets are sold through the official event page, which also has a notification list in case your division is full. What you can change later depends on the Flex add-on you choose at checkout:
- No add-on: no changes or refunds after purchase.
- Lite Flex: one name change, no refunds.
- Flex: one name change, a full refund until 31 days before race day and a 50 percent refund until 7 days before.
For the 2026/27 season there are no event transfers or division changes, so pick your division carefully.
Spectators
Spectators need their own ticket. Athlete tickets only cover spectating on the athlete's own race day. To get into the hall before an athlete's check-in window, spectators go to Spectator Check-In with a ticket and ID, and the Thunderdome is the place to watch racers come through the stations.
Athletes racing Friday or Saturday also get access to the Elite Hall on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the event page.
How to Use the Time You Have Left
From late October, Las Vegas is about 20 weeks out. That is a full training cycle, which is the best position to be in.
- Now until 8 weeks out: Build the engine. Easy running volume, steady strength work, and regular practice on the movements that cost people the most time: sleds, sandbag lunges and wall balls.
- The final 8 weeks: Switch to a race-specific block. Our 8-week HYROX training plan lays it out week by week, and the race-simulation workouts teach you to run on tired legs.
- Race week: Two short, sharp sessions and plenty of rest.

Austen's Race Pointers
Battle Bunker founder Austen Alexander is a Navy veteran and a seven-time HYROX Pro racer. His advice holds whether it is your first race or your fiftieth:
- Don't go out too hot. The first run and the SkiErg feel easy because you are fresh. That is the trap. Hold back early and you will still have legs when the race really starts.
- Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast, especially with your cardiovascular system. Once your heart rate is pinned in the red, getting it back down costs far more time than staying steady would have.
- Take breaks as needed. Do not try to go unbroken on every station. A short planned break on the sleds, the lunges, or the wall balls costs seconds. Blowing up costs minutes.
