Tickets and Spectators

Athlete and spectator tickets are sold through the official event page, with Flex add-ons that control name changes and refunds. Without an add-on, tickets cannot be changed or refunded, and for the 2026/27 season HYROX is not allowing event transfers or division changes.

Spectators need their own ticket, and an athlete ticket only covers spectating on the athlete's race day. One nice detail for families: spectator tickets for HYROX Youngstars Anaheim also cover Centr HYROX Anaheim, and the reverse also applies.

How to Use the Time You Have Left

From late October, Anaheim is about six weeks out. That is enough time for one focused block:

  • Weeks 6 to 4: One race-simulation session per week from our HYROX race-simulation workouts, plus your easy runs and one strength day.
  • Week 3: A full or near-full simulation as your dress rehearsal for pacing and fueling.
  • Week 2: One half simulation, then start cutting volume.
  • Race week: Two short sessions and rest.

Write your pacing plan before you travel. Our HYROX pacing strategy walks through the runs, stations and Roxzone, and our station guides cover the sled push, sled pull and wall balls.

Austen's Race Pointers

Battle Bunker founder Austen Alexander is a Navy veteran and a seven-time HYROX Pro racer. His advice holds whether it is your first race or your fiftieth:

  • Don't go out too hot. The first run and the SkiErg feel easy because you are fresh. That is the trap. Hold back early and you will still have legs when the race really starts.
  • Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast, especially with your cardiovascular system. Once your heart rate is pinned in the red, getting it back down costs far more time than staying steady would have.
  • Take breaks as needed. Do not try to go unbroken on every station. A short planned break on the sleds, the lunges, or the wall balls costs seconds. Blowing up costs minutes.

Where to Train in Southern California

Want time on real sleds and a SkiErg before race day? Our HYROX gyms in San Diego guide and the HYROX gyms by city directory are good places to start.

The Skirmish Training Sandbag
