Tickets, Charity Entries and Spectators
Athlete tickets were not on sale yet when we checked, so join the notification list on the official page if you want a specific day. When they open, your Flex add-on decides what you can change later, and tickets without one cannot be changed or refunded.
Charity tickets are also available, with minimum fundraising of $600 for singles, $1,200 per doubles team, or $1,000 per relay team.
Spectators buy their own tickets and go to Spectator Check-In or the Spectators Desk with a ticket and ID to enter before an athlete's check-in window.
Schedule and Race Day Logistics
Racing runs Thursday through Sunday, with different divisions on each day. The schedule is provisional and subject to change, individual start times are posted about three days before the event, start time changes are not permitted, and on-site registration opens 90 minutes before the first start time for each division.
A 23-Week Plan to HYROX Houston
- Weeks 23 to 13: Build your running base and strength. If you are new, run our 8-week beginner HYROX plan and then repeat the build phase.
- Weeks 12 to 4: One race-simulation session each week from our HYROX race-simulation workouts, with full simulations around weeks 8 and 4.
- Weeks 3 to 1: Sharpen with shorter, faster work, then taper.
Plan your race with our HYROX pacing strategy, and if Houston heat follows you into the spring, do some of your training in it.

Austen's Race Pointers
Battle Bunker founder Austen Alexander is a Navy veteran and a seven-time HYROX Pro racer. His advice holds whether it is your first race or your fiftieth:
- Don't go out too hot. The first run and the SkiErg feel easy because you are fresh. That is the trap. Hold back early and you will still have legs when the race really starts.
- Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast, especially with your cardiovascular system. Once your heart rate is pinned in the red, getting it back down costs far more time than staying steady would have.
- Take breaks as needed. Do not try to go unbroken on every station. A short planned break on the sleds, the lunges, or the wall balls costs seconds. Blowing up costs minutes.
