Hyrox Gyms Near Me: Official Training Clubs and Affiliate Gyms by City

Battle Bunker August 3, 2026 9 min read

Short answer: the fastest way to find a Hyrox gym near you is the official HYROX partner gym finder at hyrox.com. Search your city and the map returns the officially affiliated gyms, which HYROX designates as Training Clubs. That is the authoritative list, and nothing on this site overrides it.

What the finder does not tell you is which of those gyms has a SkiErg you can use on a Tuesday night, how long the sled lane is, what a drop-in costs, or whether the strongest room in your city is even on the map. Plenty of the best Hyrox training environments in America make no affiliate claim at all. That is the gap our city guides fill: we check each gym's own website, quote what it says about itself, and flag where a claim could not be verified.

Most people typing Hyrox training near me into a search bar are not really shopping for a building. They want a SkiErg they can get on without waiting, a sled lane long enough to run the real distance, and a coach who has actually stood on a race floor. A HYROX Training Club badge tells you a gym pays for the license. It does not tell you any of that.

One caveat before you go further. Gyms add and drop Training Club status, and directories go stale fast, including this one. Confirm official status with the gym directly before you buy anything based on a badge.

More cities are being added.

Seven gyms, from Fitness Quest 10 in Scripps Ranch and its four-track certified HYROX class program to NXPT Fitness Studio's four county locations and monthly full race simulations. HYROX has announced its first San Diego race for May 13 to 16, 2027. Read the San Diego guide.

Six gyms, including Lynx Fitness Club in Back Bay with five Hyrox sessions a week, CrossFit Boston across six metro locations, and one free option in the Boston Hyrox Run Club hosted by Dimensions Physical Therapy. HWPO HYROX Boston is listed for October 8 to 11, 2026. Read the Boston guide.

Seven gyms, led by Chicago Athletic Clubs, an accredited HYROX Training Club across seven locations, and GND Strength Society in the West Loop. HYROX Chicago is listed for February 11 to 15, 2027 at Navy Pier, which puts your heaviest training weeks in a Chicago December, so the guide weighs indoor running access accordingly. Read the Chicago guide.

Dallas

Six gyms across Dallas and Fort Worth, led by Hunger in the Wild in the Design District, which runs the deepest week of Hyrox coaching in the city, and FTX Hybrid Athletics on Camp Bowie Boulevard. HYROX Dallas is listed for November 18 to 22, 2026 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, which puts the hardest weeks of your build in a Texas summer. Read the Dallas guide.

Houston

Six gyms, including HNS Training Facility and its 23,000 square feet on the east side, and Adrenaline Fitness and Performance, which runs full race simulations open to the public with no membership required. HYROX Houston is listed for April 1 to 4, 2027, with the venue still shown as coming soon. Read the Houston guide.

Miami

Six gyms, led by Miami Beach Fitness on Alton Road, which calls itself Florida's first official HYROX affiliate and runs eleven sessions a week, and Hybrid Lab Miami west of Brickell with official Hyrox turf and sled lanes. Sweat Pals HYROX Miami Beach is listed for March 26 to 28, 2027, with the venue still shown as coming soon. Read the Miami guide.

New York City

Eight gyms across Manhattan and Brooklyn, including CrossFit NYC in Flatiron, which runs the deepest weekly Hyrox schedule in the city, and the five F45 NYC studios, since F45 is the official global HYROX training partner. The guide also covers the Manhattan sled lane problem, because upper-floor gyms rarely have 50 meters of turf. HYROX lists New York on its calendar with the date still to be announced. Read the NYC guide.

Phoenix

Seven gyms across the Valley, including 5 Star Fitness in Scottsdale with a 75 foot turf lane and in-house race simulations, and Arizona Performance Institute in Mesa, where the Hyrox coaching runs under Doctors of Physical Therapy. InBody HYROX Phoenix is listed for February 25 to 28, 2027, which puts your heaviest months in the best weather Arizona gets. Read the Phoenix guide.

What makes a gym good for Hyrox training

Ignore the branding and walk the floor. Eight stations, six pieces of infrastructure.

  • SkiErg. Station one, 1,000 meters, and the most commonly missing machine in American gyms.
  • Sled push and sled pull. Fifty meters each on turf. You need a sled and a lane, and the lane is the hard part.
  • Rower. Nearly every functional gym has Concept2 rowers, so this one is rarely a problem.
  • Wall balls. Check target heights, 10 feet for men and 9 for women. One height for everyone is a problem.
  • Sandbag lunges. A bag at your race weight and a lane long enough to avoid turning every six steps.
  • Farmers carry. Kettlebells or dedicated handles, plus open floor.

The SkiErg and the sled lane are the real filters. A SkiErg is a deliberate purchase most commercial gyms never make, and 50 meters of turf is a real estate decision rather than an equipment one. Ask about those two on your tour, then ask the follow-up that matters more: can members use them outside class time? One coached class a week is not enough volume on its own.

Official HYROX Training Club versus a gym that runs Hyrox classes

Most directories blur this, and it costs people money. An official Hyrox affiliate gym, designated a HYROX Training Club and sometimes called a partner gym, pays for that affiliation. In return it gets the official programming library, certified coach education, the right to market under the HYROX name, and usually early race registration for members, which matters when singles waves for a home race sell out.

A gym running Hyrox classes without affiliation gets none of that and may still be the better room. Several of the strongest competitive environments in our city guides, with world championship qualifiers and podium finishers on the wall, make no affiliate claim at all. Affiliation is a licensing agreement, not a quality rating.

Where it helps: official programming means the class formats match the race, which is worth a lot if you are new and cannot yet write your own build. Where it does not: results. Judge a gym on the equipment, the coach, and whether anyone in the room has actually raced.

Training for Hyrox without a Hyrox gym

You do not need a Training Club membership to race well. You need a plan and a set of honest substitutes.

Sled push and pull: drag a heavy sandbag on grass or turf with a strap, or pull a tire on a rope. Bear hug carries and short heavy walking intervals build the same quad and calf tolerance. You are training sustained horizontal force at a heart rate you cannot control.

SkiErg: no perfect substitute exists. Banded straight-arm pulldowns, heavy rope work, and rowing intervals get you close on aerobic cost. Get on a real SkiErg a few times before race day so the pattern is not brand new.

Sandbag lunges and farmers carry: train these exactly as written. One bag at race weight covers both patterns, which makes it the highest return piece of equipment you can own for this sport, and why we built our training sandbags the way we did.

Wall balls: a medicine ball and a strip of tape on a wall at 9 or 10 feet.

The runs: half the race is 8km of running and that half is free. Run outdoors, and run immediately after a station so you rehearse compromised legs. Pair the substitutes with structure using our Hyrox training plan.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find an official Hyrox gym near me?

Use the official partner gym finder on hyrox.com and search your city. The map returns the affiliated gyms, listed as HYROX Training Clubs. Then call the two or three closest and ask three things: do you have a SkiErg, how long is your sled lane, and can members use both outside class time. The finder confirms the badge. The phone call confirms whether you can actually train there.

What is a HYROX Training Club?

HYROX Training Club is the official designation for a gym that holds an affiliate agreement with HYROX. Those gyms get the official programming library, certified coach education, permission to market under the HYROX name, and in most markets early race registration for members. A gym that simply runs Hyrox-style classes has none of that, which is a licensing difference rather than a coaching one.

Do I need a Hyrox affiliate gym to train for Hyrox?

No. Affiliation gives a gym official programming and marketing rights, not a monopoly on results, and athletes qualify for the World Championships out of ordinary gyms and garages every season. What you need is access to a SkiErg and a sled at some point in your build, a plan that progresses compromised running, and twelve weeks of consistency. An affiliate buys convenience, community, and often early race registration.

How much does Hyrox gym training cost?

Across the cities covered above, published drop-in rates run roughly $10 to $45 per class, and dedicated Hyrox memberships run from about $89 to $199 per month. Rates change faster than any directory updates, so call before you buy.

How far out should I start training at a Hyrox gym?

Twelve to sixteen weeks for a first race if you already have a base of general fitness. Eight weeks works if you are running consistently. Under six weeks, drop the time goal, aim to finish well, and spend your limited sessions on the sled and the sandbag lunges, where undertrained athletes lose the most time. Schedule one full race simulation two to three weeks out regardless.
