The Feed HYROX Denver runs four days, November 12 to 15, 2026, at the Stockyards Event Center on the National Western Center campus. Some early calendars listed the Colorado Convention Center, but the official event page now lists the National Western Center, so make sure your hotel and parking plans match. This guide covers the details from the official page and how to make the most of the time you have left.

Provisional Race Schedule

HYROX lists this schedule as provisional and subject to change:

  • Thursday, Nov 12: Men, Doubles Men, Doubles Women, Women and Mixed Doubles
  • Friday, Nov 13: Men, Pro Men, Pro Women, all three Doubles divisions, Women, then the Men's, Mixed and Women's relays in the evening
  • Saturday, Nov 14: Men in the morning, Mixed Doubles, then Pro Doubles Women and Pro Doubles Men in the evening
  • Sunday, Nov 15: Doubles Women, Women and Doubles Men

Individual start times are posted about three days before the event, and start time changes are not permitted. On-site registration opens 90 minutes before your first start time, so plan your arrival around that.

Tickets, Changes and Refunds

Athlete and spectator tickets are sold through the official event page, which also has a notification list in case your division is full. What you can change later depends on the Flex add-on you choose at checkout:

  • No add-on: no changes or refunds after purchase.
  • Lite Flex: one name change, no refunds.
  • Flex: one name change, a full refund until 31 days before race day and a 50 percent refund until 7 days before.

For the 2026/27 season there are no event transfers or division changes, so pick your division carefully.

Spectators

Spectators need their own ticket. Athlete tickets only cover spectating on the athlete's own race day. To get into the hall before an athlete's check-in window, spectators go to Spectator Check-In with a ticket and ID, and the Thunderdome is the place to watch racers come through the stations.

Racing at Altitude

Denver sits about a mile above sea level. If you live and train near sea level, expect the eight runs and the SkiErg to feel harder at the same pace. Pace by effort and breathing, not by your usual splits, and be extra careful with the first run. Drink more water than usual in the days before, because the air is dry.

How to Use the Time You Have Left

From late October, Denver is about three weeks out. That is not enough time to build a new engine, but it is plenty of time to race smarter.

  • Weeks 3 and 2: Keep your normal training and add one race-simulation session each week. Our HYROX race-simulation workouts lay them out, including a garage version with no sled.
  • Race week: Two short, sharp sessions and plenty of rest. Arrive fresh, not fit but fried.

Then write a pacing plan before you get to the venue. Our HYROX pacing strategy includes a sample 90-minute breakdown you can adjust to your own times, and our station guides cover the sled push and wall balls.

Austen's Race Pointers

Battle Bunker founder Austen Alexander is a Navy veteran and a seven-time HYROX Pro racer. His advice holds whether it is your first race or your fiftieth:

  • Don't go out too hot. The first run and the SkiErg feel easy because you are fresh. That is the trap. Hold back early and you will still have legs when the race really starts.
  • Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast, especially with your cardiovascular system. Once your heart rate is pinned in the red, getting it back down costs far more time than staying steady would have.
  • Take breaks as needed. Do not try to go unbroken on every station. A short planned break on the sleds, the lunges, or the wall balls costs seconds. Blowing up costs minutes.
